In the present track we are moving on the Lake of the Sun on the planet Mars

The instruments used for this piece set the physical parameters of the improvised composition:
A mini modular synthesizer with its ADSR animated wave-table-oscillators and some further self- built drone-boxes, a small FM- and the Crystal Aetherpunk radio, a no-input mixer that, through body contacts, becomes the carrier for the radio sounds and other sonics and a selected amount of effects.

The collaboration of Thibault Autheman and Nemo von Nirgends as Void™– Explorers of Uselessness started in late Spring of 2014 when the two artists met in London and found that their previous solo works including writing algorithms, working with body-feedback and accidental radio waves (T.A.) and experimenting with DIY electronics, working with found sounds and modified electronic devices (N.v.N.) formed a perfect basis for further studies of the possibilities within improvised sound – in part referring to methods of ‘Pataphysics, in other instances to other fictions with more or less stringent methodologies.
Thibault Autheman is a sound artist involved with generative algorithm written in Java language, radio manipulations and multiple sound collaborations with other artists presenting a strong emphasis on improvisation and sonics.
Nemo von Nirgends has been performing and releasing as Tomoroh Hidari, his Namelessness Is Legion as well as, occasionally, Oliver Stummer. A classically trained cellist & rock-guitarist gone electronic he has ever since expanded his sonic repertoire to include such diverse noises as field recordings, diy synthesis or the sound of Dr. Faustroll’s left hand clapping
