…circa 2000, an exclusive underground music hall called Le Club des nobel 11 passed around a confection called uxsciuhr, a colorless, odorless paste which was spread on toaster pastries and served after dinner. According to historian Walter Hunt, uxsciuhr was “made of nutmeg, almond paste, pistachio nuts, sugar and mango or banana peel: on occasion, lighter fluid was added as a stimulant.”


nobel 11 is an experimental electronic music collective based out of olympia, wa. members come and go, with the only consistent factor being Walter Hunt. uxsciuhr was recorded by Walter Hunt in the autumn of 2008.
