Roland Emile Kuit - One Piece for Two Imaginary Pianos

a Musique Concréte piece and created with
recorded sounds of a Grand Piano.Tones, scrapings, hand rubbings etc. These recordings were
processed by the Kyma X / Pacarana system in a bit scramble- and granular way. Different reverberations were added to create multiple distances.

Roland Emile Kuit is a composer, researcher and lecturer in the field of electronic music since 1985.
Educated by, inter alia, Gottfried M. Koenig and Werner Kaegi on the Institute for Sonology

Utrecht, he has invented numerous cutting edge concepts in the field of modular synthesis.
As an author he has written several books about these subjects.'Laboratory of Patching, the Illustrated Compendium of Modular Synthesis' is considered a lifes work by his hand.
His works are published by Donemus, Publishing House of Dutch Contemporary Classical Music.
