"Jik Sven" is an experimental song in two ways. First is experimental for me: I have used a different approach in editing and recording it. I have started with a dissonant, droning and circular guitar riff, then I've added a series of layers (basses, synths, guitar noises) and in the end an heavy processed electronic drum. The piece is experimental also in the sense of "blending" different genres, from glitch to drone music, from hip-hop to concrete sounds.
I am a guitarist and composer from Milan, Italy. I play with many different bands experimenting with a vast palette of genres: Nasby & Crosh, an acoustic folk band, Silence Trio, an ambient acoustic project, Bandit, a singer songwriter, Last Men on The Moon, a post rock band. Apart from that, I work as a solo, recording both acoustic stuff (a new album is coming this fall, named ”Even Silence Has Gone") and experimental stuff, trying to explore the word of concrete music, drone and soundscapes.
